A super little game this as both teams battled hard in heavy ground. It was the first game back outside after gormanstown for the last few weeks and to be honest I think everyone would rather be outdoors. Rivermeade started the strongest and remained there throughout the whole game with Maynooth not able to handle the passing of all the Rivermeade players. Ben Madigan had a good game sitting in defence and getting forward when he could. Rivermeade went in at the break 4-1  up. Niall Kennedy came out of goal in the second half and did very well. My man of the match was Karl Bruton who gave it his all. The game finished 9-5 with goal scorers Luke Deegan 1, Leon Mc Guinness 2, Charlie Madigan 2, Karl Bruton 1 and Taylor Bruton 3. Well done to all concerned,
