Everyone was looking for a response to last weeks disaster and I have to say we did not get it in the first half display. The game got under way and within a minute Skerries found themselves 1-0 up. Rivermeade tried to fight back but were unlucky on a couple of occasions. Rivermeade made it 1-1 when Ryan Walker took a shot from 20 yards out and found the back of the net. Dylan made it 2-1 a few minutes later and this should of being a sign for Rivermeade to up their game but they set back and let Skerries attack them and on the stroke of half time Skerries got their reward 2-2. The Rivermeade management made a couple of changes at the break and this seemed to do the trick  and they started to play a bit of football. Rivermeade's defence of Aaron, Lee, Derek and man of the match Adam Kennedy were having a great second half. Dylan soon made it 3-2 and it was great to see the awareness of all players in some of the football they were playing. David was next to get on the score sheet to make it 4-2 and then it was Jamie's turn to get on the score sheet to make it 5-2. In truth Rivermeade could of had another 3 or 4 but we will settle for a 5-2 win and 3 points. Shit first half. super second half. Well done to all concerned.
